Rivers of Tears

My heart cries
rivers of tears
because of duplicity.

There has been too much pain,
too much of loved ones being harassed
because of duplicity.

No more poems of instruction
and correction and teaching
in the way we should go.

No more beautiful thoughts
and prayers for our well being
and our healing hearts.

No more wise columns
and urgent ims and
words of encouragement.

All gone because of venomous
duplicity.

Poets with fake aliases
and deceptive tactics
and evil schemes tear down the just.

What happened to the golden rule,
respect for the beliefs of others,
old fashioned respect and courtesy?

All this is gone
and now dread duplicity resides at AP.

Evil reigns where duplicity is found.
You cannot be two faced, or can you?
You cannot be two places at once, or can you?

A friend to one; a murderer to another.
Love sent in one message; hate sent in the next.
Lies upon lies upon lies…

What is the true you?
How can you know for sure?
Where can you find yourself?

My heart cries
rivers of tears.
Duplicity ushers in chaotic despair.

Dear Lord, please end this outrage.

  1. My darling sister, I do believe your righteous anger surfaced strong and bold. I wonder if your words will have any effect on those who know who they are and what they have done? Alas, I suspect all they feel is an incredible sense of having won. Sadly, we know they have lost.

    I am so sorry all this kept you up all night, even if it did result in this excellent poem packed with powerful truth. But, there are other lost sheep out there and we must find them.

    By the way, when someone leaves a comment on one of your writings, how do they send a thank you? I’ve yet to figure out so much about this Word Press. LOL!

  2. Well…..I’m learning too. I am just answering your comment in a text box beneath your comment. I would expect you will get an e-mail notification of this comment. I hope so.

    There is probably a way to get the little smiles but I haven’t found it yet. This is fun – having someone to blog with! I signed up for a free little course on blogging http://weblogs.about.com/c/ec/2.htm It can’t hurt – I hope. You page is coming along really nicely. I started playing with the “widgets” and got confused and then figured it out. That’s what I like about good programs. You can figure them out if you work at it.

    I don’t know what will happen with Arrant Faith. I think we will probably shut it down. I know there are sheep out there but Arrant Faith is not Arrant Faith without you. And neither Debby nor I have the time to spend on it. You did such an excellent job Bonnie. I know it was a labor of love. God says to you, “Thank you good and faithful servant.” He loves you so much.

    I’m thinking of just having a closed group for “Friends of BonnieQ.” I love it….. Who have you told? I think it is about time to let the cat out of the bag….

    Anyhow, see if this gets to you. It was as easy as filling in a text box!
