In His Service

My writings about my Lord and my service as a teacher & writer.

My Destiny – an acrostic

destiny-point.jpg
M oving mountains through prayers of faith.

Y oking my life with the Lord Jesus Christ.

D elving deep into the mysteries of the Bible.

E scaping the snares of the evil one set up to trap me.

S inging praises of worship to my King.

T eaching His Word to His children.

I nstilling a love for words to my students.

N ever giving up on my students despite what I see and hear.

Y elling and shouting the Truth about these end times to all who will hear.

  2. Excellent acrostic, my darling sister-in-Christ! I suspect this might have been posted at A/P, as well. You just keep up that “yelling and shouting” of God’s Truth while remembering that the goats are incredibly louder: standing firm defeats them in the end.

By the way, I noticed your poems below: the stanzas are single spaced, which is how I would want them. However, I can’t get this system to do that, despite having pasted the poem from my MSWord to the post box here. How did you achieve it?

    Much love and hugs, SisBon

  3. As I am also a high school English teacher at a Christian school in Panama, I am excited to find a fellow teacher and believer on wordpress! I have recently started a blog called Christian Teacher Forum in order to connect all of us as Christian teachers together–whether you work at a Christian school or a public school, I would welcome your insights! :-)

  4. Shot in the dark here. I’m searching around the internet for Christian teachers, looking for someone who might have a vision for helping to start a Christian school for poor children in Nepal…..any suggestions?
